Automatic hearing dates from the court's cause list

Twice a day Law Automator reads the daily cause lists the courts publish. When your case is listed, the hearing lands on the matter and your lawyers and client are emailed.

Courts in Nepal publish the next days' hearings as a daily cause list (दैनिक पेसी सूची). Checking those lists by hand for every case is slow and easy to miss. Law Automator does it for you.

Which courts

  • The Supreme Court.
  • Every High Court and each of its benches.
  • All 77 District Courts.
  • The Special Court, the Administrative Court, the Labour Court and the Foreign Employment Tribunal.

How it works

  1. Enter the court and the case number (for example 081-CI-0123) on the matter.
  2. Every morning and afternoon, the lists from yesterday to a few court days ahead are read for the courts where your firm has open cases.
  3. When the case number is listed, the hearing appears on the matter and the firm calendar with the bench (इजलास) and serial number.
  4. The responsible lawyer, the lawyer attending and whoever opened the matter get an email and a notice in the app.
  5. The client, and the people they have given portal access, get a short hearing notice in Nepali and English, unless you switch client emails off for that matter.
  6. After the hearing date, the court's recorded status and order are added to the event.

Running again never duplicates a hearing or sends the same email twice. The court's own website remains the authority: always confirm before relying on a date.
