FDI and corporate work

Step-by-step checklists for foreign direct investment (approval to repatriation) and company registration, on the matter, with who did each step and when.

Foreign investment and company work is a long sequence of approvals and registrations. Law Automator keeps the sequence on the matter so nothing is skipped and everyone can see where it stands.

Checklists provided

  • Foreign direct investment: sector check, investor documents, approval application, company and tax registration, industry registration, bringing in and recording the investment, reporting, ongoing compliance and repatriation approval.
  • Private limited company registration: name, memorandum and articles, promoters' documents, application, certificate, PAN/VAT, ward registration, bank account and capital, first general meeting and auditor.

How firms use them

  • Add a checklist to the matter and tick steps as they are done; each tick records who and when.
  • Add your own steps, reorder them and save the result as your firm's template.
  • Keep the related correspondence, documents, deadlines, drafting and fees on the same matter.

Law Automator tracks the work; it does not file anything with government offices. Procedures change: platform checklists show "not yet legally reviewed" until a legal reviewer verifies them against current law, and your lawyers remain responsible for each step.
